The Girl Who Smiled Beads: A Story of War and What Comes After
Clemantine Wamariya and Elizabeth Weil, her co-author, tell the story of how Wamariya went from living in Rwanda to fleeing during the 1994 genocide, then moving through six African countries before living in the United States. I couldn’t put this book down, and it had me thinking long after I had finished it. -Hannah
